To upgrade your service, we will require that you have a valid credit card number as the upgraded equipment you will receive will remain the property of Freedom Satellite Systems and DISH Network at all times. Upgrading receivers will require an 24-month commitment to qualifying DISH Network programming. Qualifying DISH Network programming is DISH Family, America's Top 100, AT 100 Plus, AT 200, AT 250, America's Everything Pack, Great Wall Pack (Chinese language) and certain DISH Latino packages. The maximum upgrade permitted is two receivers and three tuners at one time every 12 months. At no time, may you exceed four leased tuners or a total of six receivers (set-top boxes) on one account. Standard installation is FREE with an upgrade.

Fees: A $5.00 per month rental fee is charged for each upgraded receiver provided (models 301, 311, 510, 322, 522, 625). A $7.00 per month rental fee is charged for each upgraded High Definition receiver provided (models ViP 211, ViP 222, 411, ViP622, ViP 722). A $5.00 per month additional outlet programming access fee will be charged to each customer’s account for each dual tuner receiver (model 322, ViP222, 522, 625, ViP622 DVR or ViP722 DVR). This fee will be waived on a monthly basis for each such receiver that DISH Network confirms has been continuously connected to such customer’s land-based phone line. DISH Network’s confirmation process shall be the sole method utilized to determine if a customer’s additional outlet programming access fee(s) will be waived.

HD Enabling Fee: A non-refundable $7.00 per month HD enabling fee will charged to a customer's account if any model ViP211, 411, ViP222,ViP622 DVR or ViP722 DVR receiver is activated. This fee will be waived on a monthly basis if the customer subscribes to DishHD programming at $20.00 per month in conjunction with an eligible America’s Top programming package. A $5.98 per month DISH Network DVR Service Fee applies to each model 510, 522, 625, ViP622 DVR or ViP722 DVR receiver activated. This fee will not apply with respect to one (1) such receiver if the customer subscribes to DishDVR Advantage, currently priced at $49.99/mo. (including local network channels and also requiring enrollment in DISH Network’s AutoPay payment program) and will be waived if the customer subscribes to America’s “Everything Pak”.
